Capabilities & technologies
Licensed VAS provider
Gizuf Digital Service PLC holds a Value-Added Services (VAS) license in Ethiopia. We design, develop and operate value-added digital products that integrate with telecom infrastructure and mobile payment ecosystems. To do that we use modern cloud infrastructure, secure API integrations, telecom billing technology and software architecture built to scale.
Our aim is simple: affordable, locally relevant digital services that reach people through the telecom channels they already use.
Proven with Ethio telecom
We already run this model at scale. Through a strategic partnership with Ethio telecom, our AfroRead platform runs co-branded on Ethio telecom's digital infrastructure. It is integrated with the telebirr Super App and telecom subscriptions, so customers can discover and pay for eBooks, audiobooks and children's educational content in a few taps.
We're ready to bring more subscription-based services to market with Ethio telecom and other ecosystem partners, subject to the applicable regulatory and commercial approvals.
